OpenText Service Management 2023.05.02

The OpenText Service Management mobile application provides a mobile-optimized interface for managing service requests and support activities, complementing the desktop Service Management platform.

In Service Portal mode, end-users can:

• Search for service offerings, support articles, and news updates
• Browse available service and support options
• Create new service or support requests
• Approve or deny request and change approvals
• Accept or reject resolutions for requests
• Utilize smart ticketing features and Virtual Agent support
• Switch seamlessly between different tenants

In agent mode, users with agent privileges can:

• Search for specific requests, incidents, configuration items (CIs), personnel, knowledge articles, or news items
• View their assigned requests, tasks, or incidents within personalized views
• Apply filters to request, task, or incident lists—for example, filtering by priority
• Update detailed information pertaining to a request, task, or incident
• Add comments to records for collaboration or clarification
• Attach solutions or suggested resolutions to open incidents or requests
• Access comprehensive details of Person records and initiate contact via phone number, email address, or location with a tap

Note: Activation of the application requires connectivity to the OpenText Service Management platform. Users can activate the app by scanning a QR code available on their company’s Service Management web portal or by contacting their IT administrator to obtain an activation URL.
